On Wednesday, April 13, Hotel Quest Shimizu will host the "Fujinokuni Collaboration Project": All-Miho Salmon Full Course × Yamanashi Wine Pairing Gourmet Dinner to commemorate the opening of the Chubu-Odan Expressway.
Let's take a look at the details.
About Miho Salmon
The salmon served at this gourmet dinner is known as "Miho Salmon."
It is salmon produced through land-based aquaculture using deep seawater from Suruga Bay in Miho, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, by Nikken Lease Kogyo Co., Ltd., a general leasing company.
The deep seawater of Suruga Bay is rich in minerals and nutrients derived from spring water from the Southern Alps, contains very few general bacteria, and is ideal for aquaculture, making it possible to produce safe, secure salmon with excellent growth, superb flavor, and no concern about parasites.
It was selected for the Fisheries Agency's "FY2021 Value Chain Improvement Promotion Project" and has also acquired "Shizumae Certification," a regional brand of Shizuoka City, making it a recognized brand of salmon.
Miho Salmon is characterized by its lack of the distinct gaminess typical of salmon, making it very easy to eat. This time, it will be served in a full course crafted by "MediChef," professionals in healthy cuisine.
It is said that special arrangements have been made so that guests can enjoy Miho Salmon to the fullest.
The Yamanashi Wine Is "Kurambon Wine"!
The Yamanashi wine prepared to pair with Miho Salmon this time is "Kurambon Wine."
It is a carefully selected regional brand of wine from Yamanashi Prefecture, the sacred land of domestic wine.
At the gourmet dinner, pairings are planned featuring naturally made Koshu sparkling wine and Muscat Bailey A rosé wine to match the delicate flavors of Miho Salmon.
You can enjoy an exquisite harmony created by these two "Fujinokuni" brands.
