Linkties Co., Ltd., which operates "Forbes JAPAN SMALL GIANTS," has signed a business partnership agreement with Yoichi Town, Hokkaido, with the aim of supporting local businesses, municipal initiatives, and the creation of innovation.
Forbes JAPAN Editor-in-Chief Masaharu Fujiyoshi commented that there is much to learn from Yoichi Town's initiatives focusing on its wine industry.

Forbes JAPAN SMALL GIANTS is a project run by the Japanese edition of "Forbes JAPAN" that highlights small yet great locally rooted companies, as well as leaders and innovators across various regions.
Through three pillars—"Media," "Awards," and "Projects"—it aims to distribute guiding content for leaders whose scale and recognition are "small" but whose value is "giant," shining a spotlight on these "small giants."
This partnership agreement with Yoichi Town, Hokkaido marks the fourth instance of Forbes JAPAN SMALL GIANTS partnering with a local government.
To further deepen partnerships with local municipalities, it aims to achieve even greater mutual collaboration through media programs.
"Spotlight on Food"
Forbes JAPAN Editor-in-Chief Masaharu Fujiyoshi has long been paying attention to Hokkaido, which is attempting to build unique regional economies, and notes there is much to learn from one of those areas: "food," especially its wine industry.
He commented that he looks forward immensely to this partnership with Yoichi Town, which is driving regional development from a marketing strategy perspective and demonstrating significant financial growth in the wine industry as well.
Meanwhile, Yoichi Mayor Keisuke Saito noted that this agreement with "Forbes JAPAN SMALL GIANTS" is the first of its kind for a municipality within Hokkaido.
He commented that, taking this agreement as an opportunity, he greatly anticipates that the appeal of Yoichi Town as a "town of wine and fine dining" will be conveyed worldwide.
