On Tuesday, December 5, Mercian Corporation will release the "Marriage Set Selected by Wine and Book Sommeliers" in a limited run of 3 varieties, totaling 30 sets.
It will be sold at the Mercian Group's directly operated online wine shop, "WINE & DOORS."

"WINE & DOORS" is an online wine shop directly operated by the Mercian Group.
This e-commerce site is a shop that aims not only to sell wine, but also to expand touchpoints between wine and customers through a variety of experiential content.
The e-commerce site is rolling out a collaboration project between wine and culture (tradition, music, art, etc.) titled "WINE×something."
The first installment of this project is the "Marriage Set Selected by Wine and Book Sommeliers."
About the "Marriage Set Selected by Wine and Book Sommeliers"
The "Marriage Set Selected by Wine and Book Sommeliers" is a project born from a collaboration between Mercian, Nippon Shuppan Hanbai Inc., and "Bunkitsu," operated by Hiraku Co., Ltd.
Mercian's Executive Winemaker selected three wines.
In addition, a book director (book sommelier) from "Bunkitsu" selected three books from approximately 30,000 volumes to match the respective characteristics of the "Château Mercian" wines.
By pairing the distinct cultures of wine and books as a set, the project aims to offer customers a new way to experience the world of wine.
The lineup for the "Marriage Set Selected by Wine and Book Sommeliers" includes:
1. Set to experience the freshness of yellow aromas (1 bottle of Château Mercian Tamao Koshu Kiiroka × 2 books)
2. Set to enjoy tropical aromas (1 bottle of Château Mercian Hokushin Chardonnay × 1 book)
3. Set to feel the flow of time nurtured by the terroir of Mariko Vineyard (1 bottle of Château Mercian Mariko Merlot × 1 book)
Incidentally, the titles of the books in each set are undisclosed until the products are delivered.
