Travel startup "Deeper Japan" has launched its second lineup of products in cooperation with "Hokkaido Airports Co., Ltd.," which operates seven airports in Hokkaido.
The offerings reportedly also include a product that allows guests to enjoy a natural farming winery in Tokachi.
Here are the details.
Eastern Hokkaido Area Product Lineup
"Deeper Travel Co., Ltd." operates Deeper Japan, an online reservation service for traditional cultural experiences aimed at inbound tourists in collaboration with artisans, artists, and nature guides throughout Japan.
In cooperation with "Hokkaido Airports Co., Ltd.," which operates seven airports in Hokkaido, they have launched their second product lineup.
Among the regions of Hokkaido, the Eastern Hokkaido area—where particularly rich nature and culture thrive—boasts high tourism potential and is drawing attention for its active efforts to cultivate high-quality activities and guides.
Through this partnership with Hokkaido Airports Co., Ltd., it is hoped that new initiatives will emerge, such as offering touring itineraries based out of Eastern Hokkaido's airports.
The Eastern Hokkaido product lineup includes unique experiences such as oyster farm tours and tastings, visits to an organic farm in Hiroo, Ezo deer hunting tours guided by a hunter, and a whisky distillery tour in Akkeshi Town, among others.
A Tokachi Natural Farming Winery Experience Is Also Available
This time, an itinerary to visit a natural farming winery in Tokachi has also been rolled out.
Located about a 20-minute drive from Obihiro Airport, visitors will head to a winery situated on the vast farmland characteristic of the Tokachi Plain.
During the tasting session, which also features items like wild grape jam made using grape skins left over from pressing wine, guests can listen to stories about various aspects of the wine production frontlines.
