"DEAN & DELUCA" is a curated food store that gathers delicious foods from around the world.
On Friday, September 23, 2022 (national holiday), "DEAN & DELUCA Okayama" will open as the brand's first store in the Chugoku-Shikoku region.
The store will reportedly offer a unique lineup featuring Okayama Prefecture ingredients carefully selected by buyers.

A Gathering of Okayama Food
At "DEAN & DELUCA Okayama," around 30 items in total are planned, including Okayama-exclusive original dishes prepared by chefs using local ingredients alongside standard DEAN & DELUCA items that incorporate local produce.
The lineup features dishes that can only be enjoyed here, such as "Okayama Shinrin-dori Tandoori Chicken," "Okayama Pione and Buffalo Mozzarella Salad," and "Bisei-cho Sangenton Roast Pork."
In addition, Okayama-exclusive bakery items baked with local ingredients will also make an appearance.
Expectations are high to see how Okayama's ingredients will be transformed at DEAN & DELUCA.
Okayama Wine Too!
The store will also feature local ingredients as well as items from one-of-a-kind local producers.
Cheeses, charcuterie, and wine from Okayama Prefecture and neighboring Hiroshima Prefecture are planned to be offered.
Among the wines, offerings from Okayama's leading producers such as "La Grande Colline" and "domaine tetta" will be available.
Since the store reportedly plans to carry 500 to 600 bottles of wine from around the world at all times, it promises to become a place wine fans will look forward to visiting.
