On Saturday, August 30, 2025, Hotel Granvia Okayama will hold its 3rd Wine Festival in the Phoenix banquet hall.
A wine seminar titled “The Appeal of Grande Polaire and New Challenges” is also planned.

About the 3rd Wine Festival
The 3rd Wine Festival is a wine event held in Hotel Granvia Okayama’s Phoenix banquet hall.
This year, guests will again be able to casually taste more than 120 carefully selected wines from around the world, with some tastings available for an additional fee. Other programs include dishes prepared by hotel chefs to pair with wine, live music, a blind-tasting contest, and paid wine seminars that are accessible even to beginners.
A Wine Seminar for Japanese Wine Fans
The festival will include a wine seminar designed for beginners as well.
The lecturer is Yasuko Hisano, manager of Sapporo Breweries’ Okayama Winery and head of Grande Polaire, speaking on “The Appeal of Grande Polaire and New Challenges.”
The blind-tasting contest will feature both white and red wines and will be run with qualifying and final rounds.
