On Friday, February 20, 2026, French restaurant Hikariya Nishi will hold “Hikariya Nishi Maker’s Dinner Vol. 03: Chikuma River Wine Valley,” the third event in its series introducing the appeal of Shinshu wine.
This edition welcomes two leading producers from the Chikuma River Wine Valley: Villa d’Est Winery and Gio Hills Winery.

The series is organized by Hikariya Nishi, a French restaurant operated by Six Sense Co., Ltd., a group company of Tobira Holdings Co., Ltd.
This edition focuses on the Chikuma River Wine Valley.
Program
The Chikuma River Wine Valley spreads across eastern Nagano, an area blessed with varied topography, a cool climate, and diverse soils.
These terroir conditions nurture especially distinctive wines even among the increasingly noted wines of Shinshu.
With Villa d’Est Winery and Gio Hills Winery as guests, diners can experience the terroir through the senses alongside Hikariya Nishi’s French cuisine.
