The Aging Care Wine Research Institute will hold the 3rd Aging Care Wine Certification Test, 2025 A/W.

From August 18, 2025, wine importers and wineries based in Japan will be able to enter through the institute's website.

Here are the details.

About the Aging Care Wine Certification Test

“Aging care” refers to maintaining health in ways appropriate to one's age; in this program, the focus is on wine's potential anti-glycation effects.

The Aging Care Wine Research Institute was jointly established in December 2023 by Mottox Inc. and Professor Shinichi Sugiura of Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts.

The institute established an experimental system for quantifying anti-glycation activity in wine and certifies wines meeting its criteria as “Aging Care Wines.”

In 2024 it held its first and second certification tests and certified 201 of 888 wines in total. In the second test, 2024 A/W, 127 wines from 13 countries were certified from 468 entries submitted by 26 companies.
