About the “Ajimu Wine Maker's Dinner”
The “Ajimu Wine Maker's Dinner” is a maker's dinner held at Grand Hyatt Fukuoka.
Inviting winery head Koji Furuya, the event will feature talks about the appeal of Ajimu Wine and the passion behind their winemaking.
In addition, wines that can only be experienced at this event, such as back vintages and experimental varieties, as well as the new “Kanaka” series, will be served.
A barrel-aged vintage from the winery's founding year, the 2001 Muscat Bailey A, will also be specially served.
An Attractive Dinner Course as Well
The dinner course will feature fusion cuisine prepared by a French chef inspired by Oita's local dishes and specialties, making abundant use of local ingredients from Oita Prefecture, the home of Ajimu Wine.
For the main dish, “Roasted Venison Loin and Venison Thigh Tempura” using venison from “Usa Gibier Factory” will be served, allowing guests to savor exquisite pairings with the wine.
