On Friday, March 28, 2025, French restaurant Hikariya Nishi will hold a maker’s dinner introducing a Shinshu winemaker and the appeal of the region’s wine.
The inaugural edition will be a collaboration with Sun Sun Winery of Shiojiri, Nagano Prefecture.

Background and Purpose
Hikariya Nishi planned the Maker’s Dinner series to introduce the appeal of Shinshu wine to more people while creating a place for exchange through wine and food.
For the first event, the restaurant will welcome Sun Sun Winery, located in the Kakizawa area of Shiojiri, and offer a gourmet experience alongside wines that express the character of the local area.
About the Maker’s Dinner
This commemorative first edition is a collaboration with Sun Sun Winery of Shiojiri, Nagano.
Factory Manager Shogo Tamura of Sun Sun Winery will join as the guest, giving diners a rare opportunity to hear directly from the producer about the appeal of the winery’s wines while enjoying Hikariya Nishi’s full-course dinner.
The participation fee is ¥25,000 per person, tax included, with wine pairings.
Capacity is limited to the first 25 guests.
