Over the two days of October 29 (Sat) and 30 (Sun).
The "Lumiere Winery Autumn Wine Festival" was hosted by Lumiere Winery, a long-established winery located in Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
This time, on October 30, we dropped in on the event together with Toru Kanisawa, head of the "UNITED ARROWS LTD. WINE CLUB". (Rumor has it that a former member of the UA Wine Club is now at Lumiere...)
We thoroughly enjoyed this annual autumn event by Lumiere Winery.
Soothed by a Welcoming, Homey Atmosphere!

The "Lumiere Winery Autumn Wine Festival" is an annual tradition for Lumiere Winery that has continued for about 20 years since it was first held in 2001 (originally as a "New Wine Festival").
Because it took place at Omiya Shrine right next to Lumiere Winery, the atmosphere felt wonderfully homey, just like visiting a local neighborhood festival.
The venue was filled with booths serving wine, of course, as well as food stalls offering snacks that pair perfectly with wine, food trucks, and a live performance stage, creating an exciting, festival-like atmosphere.
Incidentally, the "Lumiere Special Band", composed of musicians who are acquaintances of the company president, gave a live performance on stage.
This kind of luxurious entertainment is a true pleasure that can only be savored at the "Lumiere Winery Autumn Wine Festival".
Savoring the Charming Wines of Lumiere Winery

Mr. Kanisawa tasted a variety of wines on the day.
Among them, he paid special attention to "Hikari Koshu 2020" and "Lumiere Original Mulled Wine".
"The citrus aroma typical of Koshu is so fresh. It seems to have been aged in oak barrels, but the barrel work is so delicate and surprising. The aftertaste is also very sharp and clean, making this a wine where you can truly appreciate the high quality of Lumiere once again," he praised enthusiastically.

In addition, the mulled wine was apparently commercialized after receiving great acclaim at this very event.
"Just pouring the wine from the bottle into a glass and heating it up yields such astonishing quality. The spices are nicely pronounced, making it irresistible in the cold season. Many people enjoy casual outdoor activities like solo camping these days, and I would certainly recommend this mulled wine to them."

In addition, we were able to enjoy Lumiere Winery's wines to our heart's content, including "Château Lumière (Red) 2015", a Bordeaux blend red wine, and the new vintage release "Lumiere Frele Delaware 2022".
A Delightful Wine Event You Will Want to Attend Every Year!

While wine was naturally the star of the "Lumiere Winery Autumn Wine Festival", the "Cannelé de Bordeaux Craque" was immensely popular.
This item is a special cannelé crafted by Grand Chef Hirota of the restaurant "Zelkova", who knows the authentic flavors of Bordeaux, France; it is an exquisite treat that lavishly uses Lumiere's top-grade brandy aged for over 30 years.
Personally, it was so delicious that it momentarily left me speechless...
Its pairing with "Château Lumière (Red) 2015" was magnificent—it is no exaggeration to call it a match made in heaven.
Wine, food, music, and even a rock-paper-scissors tournament—the "Lumiere Winery Autumn Wine Festival" was simply packed with fun.
It was such a delightful wine event that makes you want to visit again next year—in fact, every single year.
By the way, Mr. Kanisawa was treated to a surprise when he bumped into current members of the wine club at the venue... (The UA Wine Club members' passion for wine was reaffirmed through this event as well!)
