"wa-syu OFFICIAL ONLINE SHOP (hereafter wa-syu)" is an online shop operated by Jun Co., Ltd. that promotes the enjoyment of Japanese wine.
This online shop, which attracts great attention from Japanese wine fans, has released Japanese wine featuring collaboration label designs between "Domaine Hide" and artist Shinichi Wakasa.

Domaine Hide is a boutique winery dedicated to brewing red wine produced in Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
With many fans at NIHON WINE.JP as well, it is a winery often hailed as a top runner in natural wine.
Meanwhile, Shinichi Wakasa is a contemporary artist known as a modern Japanese-style painter.
He is known as one of the most dynamic artists today, having collaborated with Kyoto's traditional craft studio "Nagakusa Shuko-bo", NY fashion brands, media artist Yoichi Ochiai, and launched the fashion brand "SUGOI WAKAI".
Now released from "wa-syu" are Japanese wines featuring label designs born from the collaboration between these two creators.

About the collaboration wines
There are a total of three types of collaboration wines on sale at "wa-syu" this time.
Each is introduced below.
"Nigori MBA 2020" × "Super Sparkling Maneki-Neko-sama"
Made using grapes from a contract grower cultivating Muscat Bailey A bursting with the most fruitiness, located in a well-drained former riverbed vineyard by the Fuji River.
It is an extremely rare red wine crafted as a "red nigori", intentionally leaving behind abundant lees from beautiful grapes.
The label design is the "Covered in Sparkling Stars" version from the Maneki-Neko-sama series, one of Shinichi Wakasa's signature works.
It extravagantly expresses the positivity possessed by the beckoning cat.
Incidentally, "Nigori MBA 2020" × "Super Sparkling Maneki-Neko-sama" is an item sold exclusively at wa-syu.

"Kami no Hatake Pinot Noir 2021" × "Kirameki Ageruyo Mori no XX-sama"
A red wine made using Pinot Noir cultivated in the miraculous vineyard in the Minami-Alps that Domaine Hide first cleared, commonly known as "Kami no Hatake" (God's Vineyard).
It is a luxurious bottle where you can enjoy gradually spreading umami and complex, sensual aromas such as roses and black tea.
The label design expresses an awe-inspiring presence dwelling in the mountains, based on Shinichi Wakasa's childhood memories of playing in the mountains.

"Sakura no Hatake MBA 2020" × "Super Kindness-Wrapped Maneki-Neko-sama"
A bottle made using Muscat Bailey A grown in the estate vineyard "Sakura no Hatake", named because grape flower buds begin to appear around the time the large cherry blossom tree in front of the vineyard blooms.
It is an attractive red wine characterized by concentrated fruit that lets you feel the vitality of the grapes, along with spicy aromas.
In the label design, Shinichi Wakasa expresses "what" makes the Japan-originated "Maneki-neko" endure across more than 400 years of time.
