About
The Nanpo district, located in the southwestern part of Kurashiki City, is surrounded by mountains and the sea. The brewing industry has been prosperous since ancient times, with many breweries producing sake and other beverages. Senoo Shuzo was founded in Meiji 37. Since its founding, it has been producing traditional mirin, as well as wine, shochu, and liqueurs, while preserving the traditional methods passed down through generations. Recommended products from Senoo Shuzo include barrel-aged shochu finished with the famous "Omachi cold spring" water, white peach wine made from white peaches grown in the rich climate and soil of Okayama, and mirin made with 100% Okayama Prefecture rice.
