Okutone winery was founded in 1991 in Numata City, Gunma Prefecture. Seeking a high-quality environment, in 2000 it chose the cool-climate Akagi Plateau in Showa Village as its site for winemaking. Cordon-trained vines on scenic mountain slopes, the scenery of the winery & vineyard—we have always strived to craft wines that let you taste the natural character of this wonderful location on the Akagi Plateau. Making the most of the characteristics unique to a small-scale winery, we deliver the finest wines that express the maker's individuality to everyone.
