The name winery Konohana was borrowed from Konohanasakuya-hime, and was given by our president with the wish that "each person will let their own flower bloom brightly, and that everyone will bring their flowers together to create a grand bouquet."

Inspired by these words drawn from the Manyoshu, I felt truly grateful to be living within a culture that has been passed down in Japan since ancient times. And I hope that the wine we craft can also be one of the ways to convey the traditional beauty of Japan to future generations.

Japanese culture has been nurtured as people beautifully bring their hearts together. Wishing that this will continue to be a country where everyone can blossom with hope for tomorrow.
