About "Yume Machi GLASS to HAPPY 2024: Fukushima Edition"
"Yume Machi GLASS to HAPPY 2024: Fukushima Edition" is an event organized by Hankyu Hanshin Holdings and Hankyu Travel International to support Fukushima Prefecture as it strives to recover from natural disasters such as the Great East Japan Earthquake.
As part of the "Hankyu Hanshin Yume Machi Social Lab," an attendee-participatory social contribution initiative, it has been held since 2019 as a project to introduce sake breweries and renowned local alcoholic beverages from areas affected by natural disasters.
To further advance its recovery, Fukushima Prefecture has been working to enhance its brand strength by proactively promoting the high quality and delicious taste of its agricultural, forestry, and fishery products; accordingly, this event will be held under the prefecture's sponsorship as an initiative to foster understanding mainly among consumers in the Kansai region.
Fukushima-Produced Wines as Well!
At this event, a winery and sake breweries from Fukushima Prefecture will explain the appeal of their wine and sake.
Speakers are scheduled to share the "current Fukushima," interweaving the charm of sake and beverage culture with the recovery efforts in the Nakadori and Aizu regions respectively.
Naturally, in addition to tastings of wine and sake alongside local snacks, there will also be talk sessions and a quiz contest with local specialties as prizes.
