Many Japanese wine fans likely learned about Akiu through the presence of Akiu Winery.
Akiu produces not only wine, but also many other appealing alcoholic beverages.
Starting in July 2024, a collaborative project with Akiu Great Dane Brewing will be held at Sendai Royal Park Hotel.
Let's take a closer look at the details.
About the Project
Collaborating with Sendai Royal Park Hotel this time is Akiu Great Dane Brewing.
This highly talked-about craft beer brewery opened in January 2024 in Akiu, Taihaku Ward, Sendai City. This special project was realized under the theme of "Summer 2024 × Craft Beer × Local Production for Local Consumption," bringing together the brewers' wish to craft beers that local Akiu residents can take pride in amidst Akiu's blessed natural environment, and the hotel's desire for guests from both inside and outside the prefecture to fully savor Tohoku and Miyagi during this busy travel season.
About the Three Special Projects
The special plans themed around "Summer 2024 × Craft Beer × Local Production for Local Consumption" are summarized below.
