The Tokoname Tourism Association has begun selling local Tokoname sake and wine at the product sales corner of the Tokoname Tourism Information Center.
Wines from Tokoname Winery Neighborhood are also available.
Here are the details.
About the Tokoname Tourism Information Center
With “Tourism EXPO Japan 2025 Aichi / Central Japan & Hokuriku” being held at Aichi Sky Expo, many visitors from around the world are expected to come to Tokoname City.
Until now, selling alcoholic beverages at the Tokoname Tourism Information Center had been difficult because a liquor-sales license is required. With Japanese local sake also popular among inbound visitors, the Tokoname Tourism Association has newly obtained a liquor retail license.
The center has now started selling local Tokoname sake and wine.
Tokoname Winery Wines Are Available Too!
The product sales corner of the Tokoname Tourism Information Center is located inside the Ceramics Hall, at the start and finish point of the Pottery Footpath.
It currently sells Tokoname-made alcoholic beverages including Junmai Ginjo “Hakuro Chita no Yumekaze” and “Hakuro Ume” from Sawada Shuzo, as well as “Chita Nenohi-gura Otokoyama Junmai Daiginjo” from Morita Shuzo.
“Tokotime” from Tokoname Winery Neighborhood is also on sale.
It is a rosé inspired by Tokoname, a city known for ceramics, combining the depth associated with red wine with the clean, refreshing character of white wine.
If you visit Tokoname, why not stop by?
