Yokohama Kimijimaya-Selected Japanese Wine Available Too! “Yokobaru” Opens on the First Floor of Landmark Plaza on May 29!

At 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, a new food destination called “Yokobaru” will open on the first floor of Landmark Plaza.

One of the venues will also offer Japanese wine.

Here are the details.

About Yokobaru

Yokobaru is a new hub for sharing the appeal of food and producers from Kanagawa Prefecture with visitors.

It brings together three attractive bar-style venues, including concepts supervised by chefs with ties to Yokohama and Kanagawa as well as shops created in collaboration with local companies.

Some of the interior uses timber produced in Kanagawa Prefecture, while mural art by Kanagawa-based artist Ryohei Yamashita adds color to the space.

A Place to Enjoy Japanese Wine, Too!

Yokobaru will be home to MALLORY PORK STEAK Minatomirai, OTRA CASALINA, and Nihon Budokan Minatomirai Shokudo.

Among them, Nihon Budokan Minatomirai Shokudo is a restaurant where Yokohama Kimijimaya, a specialty liquor shop dedicated to conveying the passion of producers, selects the Japanese wines, teaming up with Noge Bistro zip to share Yokohama’s local food culture.

A new place to fully enjoy Japanese wine has finally arrived.

Centered on Yokobaru, Landmark Plaza plans to continue promoting the appeal of food from Yokohama and Kanagawa through menus featuring local vegetables and fruit in partnership with producers in the prefecture, locally focused events held with area businesses, and guest events featuring sake breweries and wineries.

If you live nearby or are visiting the area, consider stopping by.
