On Saturday, November 23, 2024 (Labor Thanksgiving Day), Yoichi Town in Hokkaido will hold the “Yoichi Town Thanksgiving Festival 2024.”
Rare wines and other special items will be offered through Japan's furusato tax donation program.
Here are the details.
About the Yoichi Town Thanksgiving Festival
The Yoichi Town Thanksgiving Festival is held to express the town's gratitude for the support received through furusato tax donations, which have helped strengthen policies in education, industry and welfare.
With the cooperation of local businesses, the program offers special products as thank-you gifts for furusato tax donations.
A Chance to Obtain Rare Wines!
2024 marks the fifth edition of the “Yoichi Town Thanksgiving Festival.”
The festival began after many wineries in Yoichi offered rare and difficult-to-obtain wines for furusato tax donations “for the benefit of Yoichi Town.”
New producers are also participating this time, so an even broader lineup than usual will be available.
The “Yoichi Town Thanksgiving Festival 2024” begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
Be sure to check it out on the day.
