"Discovering the History and Taste of Yamagata Wines" is an event organized by the magazine Winart.
It is a talk event to savor Yamagata wines, which were featured in the special report of the magazine's issue No. 110 (Autumn 2022).
In recent years, the number of winery producers in Yamagata has been increasing, reaching over 20 when including those aiming to establish wineries.
You can learn about the current state of Yamagata wine, which is drawing attention as each producer crafts wines highlighting their respective characteristics and flavors.
Wine & Producers Appearing Online
At this event, in addition to the magazine's editor-in-chief Yukako Komatsu, Noriko Kishidaira of Takeda Winery, who has just finished this year's harvest, and Haruyuki Yano of Grape Republic will appear online.
Writer Etsuko Tsukamoto, who was in charge of the article for the magazine's special feature, will also appear.
Additionally, venue attendees will be able to taste four types of wine.
