KNT-CT Holdings Co., Ltd. has released the first edition of the single-glass size "Wine Tabi" Kyushu Edition for a limited time and in limited quantities.
It is said to be a Japanese wine tasting flight set that allows you to enjoy multiple wineries at once—an offering made possible precisely because it was developed by a travel agency.
Let us take a closer look at the details.
About "Wine Tabi"
"Wine Tabi" is a product line that takes "Japanese wine" produced at wineries across Japan, packages it into single-glass sizes (100ml) perfect for tasting or souvenirs, and groups Japanese wine from multiple wineries by regional area into sets.
The naming is said to reflect the idea of proposing a new travel style centered on wine journeys.
In the first edition, "Kyushu Edition," five wineries from the three prefectures of Fukuoka, Oita, and Miyazaki participate, forming three-prefecture sets featuring wines recommended by each producer.
Details of "Wine Tabi"
The wineries participating in the first "Wine Tabi" Kyushu Edition are five producers: Kyoho Winery (Fukuoka), Ajimu Chiisana Wine Kobo (Oita), Kuju Winery (Oita), Miyakonojo Winery (Miyazaki), and Gokase Winery (Miyazaki).
Featuring an assortment of red, white, and rosé wines made from different varieties of Kyushu-grown grapes recommended by each producer, they are bottled in single-glass, small sizes (100ml) and sold as three-prefecture sets.
