Cantina Hiro grows grapes and brews wine in Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
Currently, the winery is conducting advance reservation sales for the Yamanashi-exclusive red Shine Muscat "Kai Berry 7" on the crowdfunding platform CAMPFIRE until July 28, 2022.

About "Kai Berry 7"
"Kai Berry 7" is an original variety developed by the Yamanashi Prefectural Fruit Tree Experiment Station, cultivated exclusively within Yamanashi Prefecture.
As an initiative with new varieties, Cantina Hiro has planted "Kai Berry 7", the Yamanashi original red Shine Muscat variety.
Taking on the initiative of a variety that can only be cultivated in Yamanashi Prefecture, raising awareness for the variety, and driven by the pride of Yamanashi Prefecture as Japan's top grape producer, they reportedly took on the crowdfunding challenge out of a desire for people to taste Kai Berry 7 as soon as possible in 4 to 5 years.
"Kai Berry 7" is a variety whose parents are "Sunny Dolce", a red variety characterized by an aroma reminiscent of green apples, and "Shine Muscat".
With its large berries that can be eaten with the skin on, along with a gorgeous Muscat aroma, it is a truly precious grape aptly called the "red Shine Muscat".
