About "Rikuzentakata Watami Organic Land"
"Rikuzentakata Watami Organic Land" is an agricultural theme park operated by Watami Organic Land Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Watami Co., Ltd.
Since its initial opening (April 2021), as a business symbolizing the reconstruction of Rikuzentakata City, it established the "Association for Making Wine from 0 (Zero)" and started winemaking aimed at sixth-sector industrialization integrating grape production (primary industry), processing (secondary industry), and sales (tertiary industry) under solar power generation.
In October 2024, grapes will be harvested, and the first wine produced by Organic Land is scheduled to be completed within this fiscal year.
This time, the wine tasting event "Wine of Hope Made from 0" will be held for the first time at the theme park.
About "Wine of Hope Made from 0"
At this event, Kanda Vineyard (Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture), Three Peaks (Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture), and Next-Generation Primary Industry Practice Center (Mie Prefecture) will be invited as guests to hold a wine tasting event (with food included) featuring wines from each winery.
Of course, the content also allows you to learn about Organic Land's wine initiatives and socialize with fellow wine enthusiasts.
