On Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9, 2025, Toei Kyoto Studio Park will host “Uzumasa Edo Sakaba: The Dream of a Colorful Oiran.”

Alongside selected sake breweries from around Japan, Japanese wine will also be served.

Here are the details.

About “Uzumasa Edo Sakaba: The Dream of a Colorful Oiran”

The event is a two-night edition of the legendary night market “Uzumasa Edo Sakaba,” created for stylish adults, this time under the theme “The Dream of a Colorful Oiran.”

It offers adults the opportunity to enjoy pairings between carefully selected breweries from around Japan and Kyoto’s traditions and flavors.

Five zones built around the theme of “encounters with new drinks” will appear at the venue: Akita, Aichi (Chita), Saga (Kashima), Kansai (Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo and Wakayama), and Kyoto Sweets, each featuring notable businesses from the region.

Enjoy the Food and Drinks!

Selected breweries from Akita to Saga will gather at the event.

Seasonal sake such as hiyaoroshi and akiagari will be paired with special collaborations with up-and-coming Kyoto restaurants.

Although sake is the main focus, there will also be a substantial selection of drinks and sweets for Gen Z visitors who prefer non-alcoholic options.

Participants include Kinokuni Wine Kobo, a small winery established in Shimotsu, Kainan, Wakayama in 2024. Visitors can enjoy its first wine, made with the aspiration of growing wine from local Wakayama grapes and dedicated to the myriad gods.

Kyoto’s NUDE BREWERY and Nomadic Japanese Tea, a new brand presenting Japanese tea in a free-form style, will also appear.

Why not spend a stylish adult evening at Toei Kyoto Studio Park?
