UNWIND HOTEL & BAR Otaru’s popular “Taste of Hokkaido Wine & Cuisine” series returns with a summer special.
On Monday, July 21, 2025, the hotel will welcome the husband-and-wife team behind OSA WINERY for a fully reservation-only “UNWIND SEASIDE WINE TERRACE.”

About “Taste of Hokkaido Wine & Cuisine”
“Taste of Hokkaido Wine & Cuisine” is a wine event hosted by UNWIND HOTEL & BAR Otaru.
Since July 2021, the series has invited people involved in wine as guests and has been well received as an opportunity to enjoy pairings of Hokkaido wine and local ingredients.
This time, the hotel welcomes OSA WINERY, an urban winery in central Otaru, for the fourth collaboration event with the winery.
The summer edition, titled “UNWIND SEASIDE WINE TERRACE,” will be held on the hotel terrace.
Program Details
Guests will be served three OSA WINERY wines suited to warm weather: two white wines and one sparkling wine.
The hotel restaurant The Ball Otaru will also serve a creative nine-compartment food box made with carefully prepared ingredients from the Otaru area, designed to bring out more of the appeal of OSA WINERY’s wines.
On the open-air terrace, guests can enjoy the pleasant sea breeze and scenery of the port city while hearing the OSA WINERY couple speak about their winemaking, along with producer talks and musical performances.
