About “Enjoy Tsukuba Terroir Through Wine 2025”
“Enjoy Tsukuba Terroir Through Wine 2025” is an experiential event series organized with local wineries as part of Hotel Nikko Tsukuba’s “Tsukutabi” project, which offers travel and experiences rooted in the local community.
It is a valuable opportunity to enjoy distinctive wines produced in Tsukuba, the first municipality in Ibaraki Prefecture to be designated a “Tsukuba Wine and Fruit Liquor Special Zone.”
Program
The first through third installments will visit three distinctive wineries around Tsukuba.
The itinerary includes Tsukuba Winery, Bee’s Knees Vineyards, and Tsukuba Vineyard.
The fourth installment will serve as the finale, pairing Cantonese cuisine from the hotel’s Chinese restaurant Toh-Lee with newly released Tsukuba wines.
Registration for the first event (October 11), second event (October 25), and third event (November 22) opened at 11:00 on Thursday, August 7.
