On Saturday, August 3, the first installment of "Enjoying Terroir with Tsukuba Wine" will be held at Hotel Nikko Tsukuba.

"Enjoying Terroir with Tsukuba Wine"
"Enjoying Terroir with Tsukuba Wine" is a project in collaboration with local wineries in the city, which is popular among Hotel Nikko Tsukuba's "Tsukutabi" tour plans.
This year, it will once again be held as a four-part series.
Under the theme of "Let's Visit a Winery in Tsukuba," the first installment on August 3 will visit "Bee's Knees Vineyards," a winery completed just in August 2023 in the Rokusho area at the foot of Mount Tsukuba.
Event Details
On the day of the event, participants will visit "Bee's Knees Vineyards," where owner Kotoyo Imamura will guide a tour of the winery and give a lecture on grape cultivation methods and more.
Additionally, during lunchtime, guests will enjoy a chef's special hors d'oeuvre lunchbox from Hotel Nikko Tsukuba, along with a tasting of three carefully selected wines from Bee's Knees Vineyards and a wine appreciation seminar led by the hotel's senior sommelier.
The organizers hope that through this journey of Tsukuba wine, participants will enjoy a special moment sensing the terroir.
