About the "Tomi City-Style Wellness Tourism x Internship Program"
The "Tomi City-Style Wellness Tourism x Internship Program" is an initiative held by Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture, and the Shinshu Tomi Tourism Association through participation in Nagano Prefecture's "Tourism Region Packaged Internship Promotion Project."
It is held with the aim of gaining new fans of Tomi through work experience and ideathons centered around Tomi City's distinctive tourism resources.
Wine-related programs are also included!
The settings for the "Tomi City-Style Wellness Tourism x Internship Program" feature "Yunomaru Highland for high-altitude training," "Unno-juku with its harmonious historical streetscape," and "people involved in winemaking among Tomi City's many culinary attractions."
In particular, the program focusing on "people involved in winemaking among Tomi City's many culinary attractions" consists of content ranging from a wine grape harvesting experience (Nagomi Vineyards) to learning about the wine industry and a tasting (Yurakukan Wine & Beer Museum).
Eligible participants include those considering relocating to Nagano Prefecture or Tomi City, as well as those interested in wellness tourism, sports tourism, and wine tourism.
