About the Tomioka Winery Tours
The tours are sold by JR East View Tourism & Sales and visit Tomioka Winery, located east of Tomioka Station.
Tomioka Winery was established to contribute to reconstruction in Tomioka on Fukushima’s Hamadori coast, aiming both for harmony, or marriage, with locally produced food and for the creation of a rich natural environment and terroir that visitors will want to return to again and again.
The tours are designed to convey the winery’s aspirations and purpose while allowing participants to experience the momentum of reconstruction in Tomioka and the disaster-affected region.
Two Plans
Two plans are available: one featuring a special “Secret Party” immediately before Tomioka Winery’s grand opening, and a Fukushima Pre-Destination Campaign special plan that includes tastings of three wines at the pre-opening winery plus a guided vineyard tour.
At the Tomioka Winery Secret Party, guests can taste the 2024 wines ahead of the official opening.
The Fukushima Pre-DC plan includes tastings of three wines—2024 Sparkling, 2024 Chardonnay, and 2024 Merlot—with snacks on the first evening, followed by a guided vineyard visit on the second day.
