"Nippon no Ii Osake: Vol. 11 Kyushu Wine & Sake" is an event sponsored by Nogata City, located in northern Fukuoka Prefecture.
Nogata City was one of the three major cities of Chikuho that flourished with coal mining; situated roughly midway between Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu City, it is a city characterized by its convenience as a base for long-term tourism in the northern Kyushu region.
This edition of "Nippon no Ii Osake" was planned not only to share the inherent charms of Nogata City—such as a large-scale festival adorned with 200,000 tulips and cycling roads leading toward the sea—but also to showcase the appeal of the "fine sake and wine" and "delicious food" scattered across the Kyushu region to Tokyo.
It is said that the shared vision of both Nogata City and Tokyu Plaza Shibuya brought this event to fruition.
Around 100 varieties of wine and sake gather!
At this event, approximately 100 varieties ranging from sake to classic and rare Kyushu wines will be featured.
In addition to sommeliers and wine advisors, liquor store staff well-versed in Kyushu wine and winery staff capable of offering advice from a producer's perspective will be stationed on site, allowing you to enjoy Kyushu's alcoholic beverages while consulting with them on various recommendations.
This time as well, tasting plans can be selected from "60-Minute All-You-Can-Taste" and "3-Variety Flight Tasting."
