“Hokkaido Shintoku Town Tsukada Nojo” Starts Serving “Tokachi Sangria” Made with Tokachi Wine!

“Hokkaido Shintoku Town Tsukada Nojo (Tokachi Tsukada)” has developed “Tokachi Sangria,” a fruit-packed sangria made with “Tokachi Wine.”

Service began on Monday, July 17.

Let’s take a look at the details.

About “Tokachi Sangria”

“Tokachi Sangria” is a sangria made using “Tokachi Wine,” which was born 60 years ago in Ikeda Town, Tokachi region.

It is said that they developed this fruit-packed sangria out of a desire to make the winery's wines more accessible and casually enjoyed in the Kanto region as well.

“Tokachi Sangria” is crafted using a recipe featuring chunky cuts of strawberries, melon, and mixed berries, resulting in an exceptionally easy-to-drink beverage.

Here are the varieties available:

Tokachi Sangria Red

Tokachi Sangria White

Tokachi Sangria Soda Red

Tokachi Sangria Soda White (730 yen each, tax included)

The Pairings for “Tokachi Sangria” Are Also an Attraction!

The restaurant also introduces paired dishes that go well with “Tokachi Sangria.”

That dish is the “Charcoal-Grilled Summer Vegetable and Cheese Ajillo.”

Using vegetables cooked with the “charcoal-grilling” technique—fanning charcoal flames to cloak them in light soot—it is said to be a dish where the deliciousness of the vegetables shines through, standing up to the aroma of charcoal and the seasoning of garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and anchovies.

They invite guests to thoroughly enjoy the pairing of ajillo and sangria.
