On Friday, July 10 and Friday, July 24, 2026, Nishi-Nippon Railroad will operate a special “Midsummer Night Local Sake & Draft Beer Train” aboard THE RAIL KITCHEN CHIKUGO, its culinary sightseeing train.
The program brings together Tenjin specialty liquor retailer Sakesho Sugawara and breweries along the railway line.
About the Special Train
The special service is held aboard THE RAIL KITCHEN CHIKUGO, a train designed to let passengers taste the region while traveling.
Sakesho Sugawara, which specializes in sake, shochu, Japanese wine, domestic spirits and more in Tenjin, will join producers from along the line.
Itoshima Wine
Drinks will include draft beer from Sakesho Sugawara, a destination with fans from Japan and overseas, sake and shochu from breweries along the route, craft gin using bamboo and indigo from Kurume, and wine from Itoshima.
Brewers will also board on different dates, creating an experience available only on this train.
Passengers may bring their own food.
For each date, bento boxes and hors d’oeuvres from popular tenants at Solaria Stage and ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. can also be ordered in advance for consumption onboard.
