About the Nirasaki Fireworks Festival
Nirasaki’s spectacular end-of-summer fireworks festival is loved by local residents as well as visitors from inside and outside Yamanashi Prefecture.
The viewing area is positioned directly in front of and close to the launch site, making the power of the fireworks especially impressive.
This year, around 6,000 fireworks, centered on large shakudama shells and star mines, are scheduled to light up the summer night sky.
Enjoy Nirasaki Wine and Fireworks from Reserved Seats
More than 100 night-market stalls are expected at the festival, adding even more energy to the summer celebration.
For those who want to enjoy the fireworks at a more relaxed pace, paid reserved seating is recommended.
This year, a booth selling Nirasaki wine is also planned exclusively for the paid-seating area.
Enjoying Nirasaki wine while watching the fireworks from a spacious reserved seat makes for a particularly luxurious experience.
