A must-check for figurine fans.
Starting April 4, 2023, sales of the capsule toy "Miniature Hokkaido vol.2," which turns various Hokkaido "specialties" into figurines, will begin at #C-pla capsule toy specialty shops nationwide and capsule toy vending machines throughout Hokkaido.
Among them is that famous wine from Hokkaido...
Here are the details.
About "Miniature Hokkaido"
"Miniature Hokkaido" is a capsule toy series that has been on sale since October 1, 2021.
This product, which turned six "local specialties" recognized by tourists and Hokkaido residents alike into miniature figurines, garnered a huge response and was featured on Hokkaido television and in various media outlets.
The capsule toy being released this time is the sequel, "Miniature Hokkaido vol.2."
Hokkaido's capsule toys, a region also buzzing as a Japanese wine production area, have evolved even further.
Tokachi Wine Tokap Is Included?!
"Miniature Hokkaido vol.2" features a lineup of six varieties.
・Hokkaido Saikoro Caramel ＜Donan Foods Co., Ltd.＞
・Soft Katsugen ＜Megmilk Snow Brand Co., Ltd.＞
・Ganso Yakitori Bento ＜Hasegawa Store Co., Ltd.＞
・Matsuo Jingisukan Tokujo Lamb ＜Matsuo Co., Ltd.＞
・Yoitomake ＜Mitsuboshi Co., Ltd.＞
While iconic Hokkaido motifs like these have become capsule toys, one more item—"Tokachi Wine Tokap (Red) and Yamasachi" created by ＜Ikeda Town Grape and Wine Research Institute, Hokkaido＞—is also making its appearance.
It comes as a set featuring Tokachi Wine's quintessential table wine "Tokap (Red)" and the red wine "Yamasachi," which is crafted from Yamasachi grapes—the third grape variety in Japan to be registered with the OIV (International Organisation of Vine and Wine).
They want you to pay special attention to the bottle's transparency and the elaborate printing on the labels.
Incidentally, it comes with a ball chain.
A must-see for Japanese wine fans!
