About Mayu Saito's Broadcasts
Mayu Saito is renowned as the winemaker of Kisvin Winery.
The first night centers on stories stemming from her participation in the "Wine Harvest Corps" led by French literature scholar Masayoshi Kato while studying at Waseda University, tracing her journey to becoming a globally recognized winemaker.
The second night covers how she met Yasuhiro Ogiwara of Kisvin Winery, who was a grape farmer in Yamanashi, as well as how her wine received high praise on social media from Gérard Basset, the World's Best Sommelier known as the "God of the Wine World," spreading both the Kisvin name and the presence of "Winemaker Mayu Saito" across the globe.
Now that Kisvin has gained worldwide renown, this is a precious opportunity to hear the story directly from the winemaker herself.
