About the Event
The “Food Capital Kumamoto Three-Star Gourmet Festival & Farmers Market” is one of the largest gourmet festivals in Kumamoto Prefecture.
More than 70 food booths will appear, offering a major opportunity to enjoy representative flavors of Kumamoto.
There will be popular restaurants known for their lines and talked-about places that many visitors have long wanted to try.
With signature Kumamoto foods gathered together, it is truly a festival of cuisine.

The Three-Star Gourmet Festival will take place around Hanabata Square, while the Farmers Market will be held in the Shinshigai Arcade.
The gourmet festival will feature many alcoholic beverages produced in the prefecture, including sake, shochu, Kuma shochu, Kumamoto wine, Yamaga whisky, craft beers from around the prefecture, and cocktails made by bartenders using local ingredients—a lineup sure to appeal to drinks enthusiasts.
