Forster Japan Launches Wine Cellar Meister Program, with First-Generation Meisters Already at Select Stores

Many wine lovers may feel confident choosing wine but less certain when it comes to choosing a wine cellar.

Forster Japan, the wine-cellar brand operated by Firadis Co., Ltd., has launched a Wine Cellar Meister program and has already certified five electronics-retailer sales staff as its first-generation Meisters.

Here are the details.

About Forster Japan

Forster Japan is a home wine-cellar brand that has manufactured and sold wine cellars since 1987.

Its team of specialists is constantly asking what can be done to store and mature wine in better condition. Through its wine cellars, the trusted brand has continued to support professionals including restaurant sommeliers, wine shops, importers, specialist wine publications, and journalists.

About the Wine Cellar Meister Program

The “Forster Japan Wine Cellar Meister Program” was established to spread accurate knowledge about wine cellars and develop highly capable advisers who can help customers choose the right cellar.

Sales staff receive training in comprehensive wine-cellar knowledge, an understanding of the technologies used to control temperature and humidity, as well as Forster Japan’s history, products, after-sales support, and related expertise. Those who pass the certification examination are recognized as Meisters.

With the launch of the program, five sales staff from Bic Shuhan, which operates the alcoholic-beverage sections of the Bic Camera Group, completed the training and passed the certification exam to become the first certified Meisters.

Why not find your ideal cellar with help from sales staff who have professional wine-cellar knowledge?
