A stamp rally will be held in the "Jomon Prehistoric Sites in Northern Japan" area from Thursday, August 25, 2022, to Sunday, December 11, 2022.
Creating opportunities to tour various regions while offering local specialties as prizes... it turns out that southern Hokkaido and Aomori wines are among the prizes you can win.
Let's take a look at the details.
About the Stamp Rally
This upcoming stamp rally is planned and operated by the Southern Hokkaido Regional Subcommittee of the Hokkaido Tourism Organization.
With the "Jomon Prehistoric Sites in Northern Japan" attracting attention following their inscription as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, this stamp rally was planned to seize the opportunity.
Participants can apply by collecting designated stamps placed at each facility using the dedicated stamp rally sheet or the sheet available on the special web page.
It is structured so that various prizes can be won by lottery depending on the number of stamps collected.
By the way, the stamps are divided across a total of 10 categories at 90 locations.
Win Southern Hokkaido and Aomori Wine!?
A wide variety of prizes and gifts are available this time.
With numerous gifts such as a 2-day, 1-night pair accommodation voucher for Century Marina Hakodate or Asamushi Onsen Nanbuya Kaisenkaku, the "Southern Hokkaido Gourmet Set (3 items) & 2 items provided by sponsor companies," and "Jomon Goods & Sweets," you can have fun while collecting stamps.
Among them, the Tsugaru Strait Prize deserves special attention.
By stamping at least one stamp each from Southern Hokkaido, Aomori, and Transportation, 20 winners will be drawn by lottery to receive "Southern Hokkaido and Aomori Wine."
Looking at the flyer, it seems that participants can win wines including Shimokita Wine, as well as wines from Okushiri Town and Nanae Town.
If you are a Japanese wine fan, why not try aiming for the wine?
