For three days starting December 16, 2022, the "Sparkling Yamanashi Sparkling Alcohol Fest" will be held at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Sankaku Hiroba.
This event offers an appealing opportunity to sample and compare about 100 varieties from 26 breweries and producers exclusively from Yamanashi Prefecture.
Here are the details.
A Grand Gathering of Yamanashi Bubbles!
Yamanashi is Japan's first brewing and production site for commercial beer (1874), wine (1877), and sparkling wine (1916).
Not to mention wine, sparkling alcoholic beverages from Yamanashi Prefecture—which can truly be called a sacred land of alcohol in Japan—will gather at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Sankaku Hiroba.
At the venue, sommeliers, producers from Yamanashi breweries, and aspiring future makers will staff the sparkling alcohol booths to serve visitors.
You can enjoy paid tastings poured at your preferred booths into glassware (choose from two types depending on the kind of drink; not plastic cups!).
In addition, food stalls pairing perfectly with sparkling drinks will offer dishes made with Yamanashi ingredients and specialty appetizers.
With Christmas approaching in Shinjuku, it is designed to be an event where you can thoroughly enjoy toasting for celebrations or year-end parties.
