On Saturday, March 1, 2025, “Sorachi de Offline Meetup in Tokyo 2025,” organized by the Hokkaido Sorachi Regional Revitalization Council, will be held at Matsuo Jingisukan Akasaka.
Participants will also be able to enjoy Sorachi wine and other alcoholic beverages.
Limited to the first 50 people, the event is one Hokkaido wine fans will want to note.
“Sorachi de Offline Meetup in Tokyo 2025”
On Friday, March 15, 2024, the “Sorachi de Offline Meetup in Tokyo” was held in Tokyo to help followers of the Sorachi de View social-media account, mainly those living in the greater Tokyo area, grow even fonder of Sorachi through its flavors.
This year, the event returns as “Sorachi de Offline Meetup in Tokyo 2025.”
As last year, the venue will be Matsuo Jingisukan Akasaka in Tokyo’s Akasaka district, with this edition taking place on Saturday at lunchtime.
The organizers invite guests to enjoy authentic jingisukan while lively “Sorachi talk” unfolds.
The Wine Lineup Is Appealing Too
To showcase the appeal of Sorachi’s food, specialties from the region’s 24 municipalities will be featured.
Guests will also be able to sample around 10 rare alcoholic beverages, including wines from YAMAZAKI WINERY, which has received the top five-star rating at the Japan Winery Awards for six consecutive years, as well as sake, cider and herbal liqueurs.
Popular pairings such as salmon jerky, potato chips, rice crackers and cookies will also be available to enjoy with Sorachi’s drinks.
Prizes for the “Sorachi Quiz” and souvenirs include rice from Sorachi, Hokkaido’s largest rice-growing area, as well as tomato juice.
This is a valuable event limited to the first 50 participants.
