This special event combines a wine-and-cider program with sales of a Nagano local-sake set.
“Shinshu Wine & Cider Pairing Event with a Sommelier”
The event is a special program in the sixth edition of the “Gather! Eki-Sake Part” campaign.
Titled the “Shinshu Wine & Cider Pairing Event with a Sommelier,” it pairs wines and ciders from five Nagano wineries with Japanese appetizers inspired by Shinshu cuisine.
The program will include comparative tastings, a lecture by a sommelier certified by the Nagano Wine Association, and talks by staff from participating wineries.
Please see the image below for the wines scheduled to be served.

“Nagano Local Sake Set” Also on Sale
The special program will also feature a limited-quantity set combining sake from breweries participating in the sixth Eki-Sake Part campaign with snacks.
JR East Nagano Branch is working with JR East Cross Station to sell the sets at NewDays Nagano and NewDays Matsumoto Meihinkan.
