About the “2025 Shinshu Wine Summit in Matsumoto”
The Shinshu Wine Summit in Matsumoto is one of Japan’s largest Shinshu-wine festivals, bringing wineries and vineyards from throughout Shinshu together in Matsumoto.
This will be the ninth edition. Last year, the event drew approximately 22,000 visitors, and organizers say the growing number of visitors from outside the prefecture and overseas also reflects rising inbound tourism demand.
The “2025 Shinshu Wine Summit in Matsumoto” will offer a variety of ways to become familiar with wine culture, including wine guidance by sommeliers, live music and collaborations with entertainment.
The event aims to broaden contact with consumers while contributing to local sixth-sector industrial development, food culture and tourism promotion.
