About the Pop-Up
From October 2 to October 8, Sasaichi Shuzo is hosting a pop-up store in the Japanese and Western Liquor Section on the basement floor of Daimaru Tokyo (Basement Hoppe Town Japanese and Western Liquor Section).
From their lineup of sake brewed with the crisp, deep groundwater of Fuji Misaka, they are offering proud selections including "Dan," a luxury brand that won a Platinum Award at a world sake competition and is chosen by restaurants around the globe, as well as "Sasaichi," a local sake brand representative of Yamanashi.
Japanese Wine Too!
While Sasaichi Shuzo is strongly recognized as a sake producer, it is actually a rare brewery that also produces Japanese wine.
At this pop-up store, "OLIFANT" also makes an appearance—a brand that uses estate-grown grapes to craft wines with winemaking techniques unique to a sake brewery.
