While enjoying wine, General Director Bando will talk about animals and the environment.

About the "Asahiyama Zoo Support Product Animal Wine Series"
Sapporo Machinaka Wine Brewery Libera is a winery operated by an employment support facility for people with disabilities.
The "Asahiyama Zoo Support Product Animal Wine Series" will be sold from "LIBERA WINE TERACE Sapporo Botanical Garden Mae Brewery Hokkaido Natural Farming School," located adjacent to the Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens.
Resonating with Asahiyama Zoo's philosophy of "conveying life," this wine series expresses the beauty and preciousness of animal life through wines brewed by people with disabilities.
The "Asahiyama Zoo Support Product Animal Wine Series" will offer 8 varieties throughout the year, sold online and in stores across 4 releases per year as 1 set of 2 varieties (750ml each) for 6,600 yen including tax.
The wines are brewed using selected domestic and overseas ingredients, with some utilizing cultivated yeasts from their own vineyards, through methods that minimize the use of preservatives and chemicals as much as possible.
About the Release Commemoration Event
To commemorate the release of this wine series, "Let's Talk About Hokkaido's Animals and Environmental Issues with General Director Bando While Drinking Wine" will be held at LIBERA WINE TERACE on January 25, 2025.
Forty people will be invited by lottery from among those who purchase a subscription plan that delivers all 8 varieties of wine every 2 months.
Applications for the event are open to those who purchase the subscription between November 16, 2024 and the end of December 2024, with the lottery taking place in early January.
