Here are the details.
About “Samurai Silk Night — Night Cherry Blossoms”
“Samurai Silk Night — Night Cherry Blossoms” is a special illumination event that combines music and light around rows of cherry trees more than 100 years old inside the Matsugaoka Reclamation Site.
Set at the nationally designated historic site, the event lights up the cherry trees and creates an experiential evening of blossoms, sound, light and food.
Matsugaoka Wine Also Planned for Release
The event will feature a night market on April 12 with popular food trucks and shops from the Shonai area, along with night-time cherry-blossom fireworks and other attractions.
Pinocollina Matsugaoka, a winery in the area, will also launch a new rosé called “Vestito Fiore” (¥4,950 including tax), inspired by the cherry blossoms of Matsugaoka, to commemorate the event.
The winery will offer a night-cherry-blossom wine bar where visitors can enjoy wine by the glass, as well as a special dinner with reserved fireworks-viewing seats (reservation required).
It is a unique event where visitors can also enjoy distinctive Japanese wine.
