"SAKANA&JAPAN FESTIVAL 2024 in Odaiba" will be held for four days from Friday, November 1 to Monday, November 4 (substitute holiday) at a special venue in the Odaiba Aomi area.

At Japan's largest seafood gourmet festival, you can also enjoy wine.

Here are the details.

About "SAKANA&JAPAN FESTIVAL"

"SAKANA&JAPAN FESTIVAL" is one of Japan's largest seafood gourmet festivals, held to revitalize fish consumption.

This highly popular event has drawn a cumulative total of approximately 1.9 million visitors, offering traditional fishermen's meals and local regional dishes from all over the country, as well as Japanese, Western, and Chinese seafood delicacies like seafood ramen and seafood paella.

In addition, to support recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, the event will concurrently host "Discover! Fukushima Fish Festival," featuring dishes made with Fukushima seafood known as "Joban-mono." Various other programs are also planned, including the fish dish contest "10th Fish-1 Grand Prix" and the "Eat to Support! Bounty of Japan Area."

Wine Too!

The concurrently held "Discover! Fukushima Fish Festival" will offer a variety of dishes, including seafood rice bowls using fresh, seasonal seafood from across Fukushima, such as blackthroat seaperch (nodoguro) and flounder.

Fukushima's local sake and wine are also scheduled to make an appearance.

For the wine, Merlot 2021 from Azumasanroku Winery is scheduled, making it tempting to ponder what kind of seafood dishes to pair it with.

The venue, the special venue in the Odaiba Aomi area, is a prominent area where various events like "Meat Fest" and "Oktoberfest" are held, boasting a vast site area of approximately 17,000 square meters.
