About the Event

SAKANA & JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025 in Yoyogi Park is an event where visitors can enjoy seafood dishes from across Japan.

Together with its sister events, it is known as one of Japan’s largest seafood festivals, with cumulative attendance of around 2.1 million people.

A wide range of seafood will be gathered in one place, including tuna, salmon, blackthroat seaperch, sea urchin, crab, oysters, and salmon roe.

Visitors can enjoy outstanding seafood dishes such as seafood rice bowls made with fresh seasonal catches, as well as fishermen’s dishes and regional specialties from around Japan.

To support recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, the event will also host the “Discover Fukushima Fish Festival,” featuring dishes made with Fukushima seafood known as “Joban-mono,” along with an “Eat to Support Japan’s Bounty” area featuring scallop dishes and other specialties from Hokkaido and Tohoku.

Cider from Azumasanroku Winery is also expected to be sold at the Discover Fukushima Fish Festival.

It will be four days to enjoy Japanese drinks and luxurious seafood.
