Here are the details.
About "Saitama Prefecture New Product AWARD 2023"
The "Saitama Prefecture New Product AWARD 2023" is an award for products produced within the prefecture by businesses based in Saitama Prefecture that were newly released between Saturday, September 10, 2022, and Friday, September 1, 2023.
Winning products will be allowed to use the wording and logo mark of the "Saitama Prefecture New Product AWARD" together with the award year starting from the day of the award ceremony, and will also receive extensive promotion, with the Saitama Prefecture Products and Tourism Association publicizing them in various settings.
Saitama Prefecture Wine Has Also Won in the Past!
The "Saitama Prefecture New Product AWARD 2023" has been held since 2020, drawing attention as wines, seasonings, traditional crafts, and general goods making use of Saitama Prefecture's ingredients and traditional techniques have won the Grand Prize.
For example, in the "Saitama Prefecture New Product AWARD 2020," "Chichibu Rouge 2019 YUKI" by Usagida Winery, located in the Yoshida Usagida area of Chichibu City, won the Grand Prize.
It is a bottle crafted from "Fuji no Yume," a wild Japanese mountain grape hybrid, and "Muscat Bailey A," which has long been used in Japanese wine. The red wine made from these two varieties is aged in ex-whisky casks, followed by maceration with in-house roasted Mizunara Japanese oak.
It was highly evaluated as a red wine to be enjoyed paired with meat dishes featuring all-Chichibu ingredients.
The "Saitama Prefecture New Product AWARD 2023" is an award worth paying attention to not only for wine producers in Saitama Prefecture, but also for Japanese wine fans.
Let us look forward to seeing what kind of products will be selected this year.
