A wine made to pair with Baby Star
“BookRoad~葡萄人~,” a downtown Tokyo winery, makes wine under the theme “Let’s sow the seeds of happy!”, imagining moments that will make the people drinking its wines happy.
The winery says it wants wine to feel more familiar and part of everyday life, and hopes that wine can help spark conversation and connections between people. That idea led to this collaboration with Baby Star, a familiar snack.
About “BookRoad~葡蔵人~ produced by Baby Star”
“BookRoad~葡蔵人~ produced by Baby Star” is a carefully crafted “wine made to pair with Baby Star,” created by the winery’s winemaker, Michiko Sugou, specifically for Baby Star Ramen.
The blend includes not only red-wine varieties such as “Fuji no Yume,” known for its deep, vivid purple color, and Merlot, with its appealing fruit and soft tannins, but also Chardonnay, which brings bright acidity and fruitiness.
The result is said to have a flavor that gently wraps around Baby Star’s savory, toasted character.
“BookRoad~葡蔵人~ produced by Baby Star” is priced at ¥3,500 before tax and is limited to 600 bottles.
The recommended way to enjoy it is to pop two pinches of Baby Star into your mouth, then take a sip of wine.
